Terms & Conditions
The terms that apply when you engage Trendz Interiors for design and execution.
Consultations and quotations
Initial discussions and site visits help us understand your requirements. Quotations are prepared based on the agreed scope of work and are valid for a limited period stated on the document. Any change in scope, materials or finishes may revise the quoted price and timeline.
Scope of work
The scope of each project — including design deliverables, materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures and timelines — is defined in the written proposal or agreement shared with you before work begins. Work outside the agreed scope will be treated as an addition and billed separately with your approval.
Payments
Projects are billed in stages linked to design approval, procurement and execution milestones, as set out in your agreement. Work on each stage begins after the corresponding payment is received. Delayed payments may affect the project timeline.
Materials and workmanship
We follow a strict policy on materials and workmanship — wood, glass, fixtures, tiles, fabric and electricals are sourced to the specifications agreed with you. Where a specified material becomes unavailable, we will propose an equivalent alternative for your approval before substituting it.
Timelines
We commit to timely execution and will share a realistic schedule at the start of your project. Timelines may shift due to design changes, material availability, site conditions or approvals outside our control; we will keep you informed of any changes.
Client responsibilities
You agree to provide timely design approvals, site access and any society or association permissions required for the work. Decisions or approvals delayed on the client side may extend the project schedule.
Warranty and after-service
Custom furniture and woodwork executed by Trendz Interiors carries a workmanship warranty as stated in your project agreement. Manufacturer warranties on appliances, fixtures and hardware are passed on to you. Normal wear, misuse or alterations by third parties are not covered.
Cancellations and refunds
If a project is cancelled after work has begun, charges will apply for design work completed, materials procured and work executed up to the date of cancellation. Any advance paid beyond these charges will be refunded.
Intellectual property
Design concepts, drawings and 3D visualisations created by Trendz Interiors remain our intellectual property until the project is fully paid for, after which they may be used for the execution of your project.
Governing terms
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
